SAP Architect

Key Responsibilities

Architecture and design authority

• Own and publish the target-state architecture for SAP S/4HANA across FICO, OTC, PTP and the supporting technical stack, and maintain the roadmap that gets Ariat there.
• Chair the design authority for all SAP change: approve solution designs, reject designs that create upgrade debt, and hold the line on clean-core principles.
• Set the extensibility policy — what may be built in-core, what must move to SAP BTP, and what should be solved through configuration or standard functionality.
• Govern the custom ABAP estate: establish coding standards, measure and drive down custom-code footprint, and own the remediation backlog.

Integration and cross-platform design

• Own the integration architecture between S/4HANA and Centric PLM, Infios WMS, Manhattan Active Omni, the Shopify commerce platform and the Snowflake data platform.
• Define the migration path for PI/PO-based interfaces and set the standard for new integration development.
• Act as the SAP-side architectural counterpart to the Shopify Architect and the Manhattan POS/OMS Lead on order, inventory, pricing and customer master data flows.

Controls, risk and operational quality

• Ensure SAP designs satisfy SOX IT general controls, segregation of duties and GRC requirements, and support internal and external audit as the design authority of record.
• Set non-functional standards for performance, transport and release governance, environment strategy and disaster recovery.
• Partner with Information Security on identity, access and data-protection design across GDPR and CCPA obligations.

Technical leadership

• Provide technical direction to the SAP build community in Hyderabad — ABAP developers, PI/PO integration engineers, functional analysts across FICO, OTC and PTP, Basis, GRC and QA.
• Set the hiring bar for SAP technical roles in Hyderabad and participate directly in interviewing and selection.
• Mentor senior engineers and functional analysts toward architecture-level thinking.
