SAP APO

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to supply chain planning and translate them into SAP APO solutions.
• Design, configure, test, and implement solutions across one or more APO modules:
• Demand Planning (DP)
• Supply Network Planning (SNP)
• Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)
• Global Available-to-Promise (GATP)
• Integrate APO with ECC (SAP R/3), BW, and other systems.
• Customize planning books, macros, key figures, and time series data in DP.
• Perform CIF (Core Interface) configuration between ECC and APO.
• Lead or support blueprinting, prototyping, testing (SIT, UAT), cutover, and go-live activities.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and suggest enhancements.
• Document functional specs, configuration changes, and end-user procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Logistics, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales & Distribution).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP APO implementation and support projects.
• Strong functional knowledge in at least one of the following: DP, SNP, PP/DS, GATP.
• Experience with CIF integration and data consistency between APO and ECC.
• Solid understanding of supply chain planning processes and best practices.
• Experience working in full lifecycle SAP implementations (blueprint to go-live).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and client-facing communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) is a strong plus.
• Exposure to S/4HANA transition or migration projects.
• Functional knowledge of ECC modules (MM, PP, SD) and their integration with APO.
• Experience in industries such as FMCG, Manufacturing, Pharma, Automotive, etc.
• SAP certification in APO or related modules is an advantage.
