Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement solutions in SAP APO, focusing on GATP and TVPS functionalities,
  • Configure and manage rule-based ATP, product allocation, backorder processing, and substitutions within GATP,
  • Set up and optimize transportation scheduling and vehicle planning in TVPS,
  • Integrate SAP APO with ECC/S4HANA and other third-party systems,
  • Develop and implement optimization strategies for planning processes across the supply chain,
  • Enhance system performance through effective troubleshooting and fine-tuning,
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions,
  • Conduct gap analysis and provide innovative solutions to complex supply chain scenarios,
  • Implement best practices in supply chain planning and execution,
  • Provide end-user training and post-implementation support for GATP and TVPS modules,
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and training materials.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of SAP APO experience, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations,
  • In-depth expertise in GATP features such as product allocation, ATP checks, backorder processing, and substitution logic,
  • Hands-on experience in TVPS, including transportation scheduling, resource management, and route optimization,
  • Strong knowledge of CIF integration between APO and ECC/S4HANA,
  • Proficiency in SAP APO modules like DP, SNP, and PP/DS is an added advantage,
  • Familiarity with ABAP debugging to support custom enhancements,
  • SAP Certified Application Professional - SAP APO GATP,
  • SAP Supply Chain Certification or equivalent (Preferred),
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills,
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities,
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
