SAP Analytics Cloud & Datasphere Lead Consultant (Contract)

Duration: 6 month Initial contract with potential extension

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) & Datasphere Lead Consultant to support a global pharmaceutical organisation's analytics transformation programme. You will play a key role in designing and delivering advanced analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive dashboards, analytic applications, and KPI models using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Build and manage scalable data models in SAP Datasphere for enterprise reporting
• Integrate SAC with Datasphere for real-time and consistent analytics
• Connect and harmonise data from SAP and non-SAP sources
• Develop advanced reports with drill-downs, visualisations, and multi-tab view
• Customise SAC applications using JavaScript, SQL, and scripting techniques
• Implement predictive analytics, R visualisations, and external libraries
• Optimise performance and drive best practices in data visualisation and UX
• Work with SAP Datasphere, SAP BDC, and SAP HANA integrations
• Manage data pipelines, ETL processes, and automation workflows
• Deliver robust, secure, and governed analytics solutions
• Lead and mentor junior developers across project lifecycles
• Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions

Skills/Experience required:

• At least 10 years experience in SAP analytics, with a minimum 2–3 years in a senior/lead SAC role
• Strong hands-on experience with:

1. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
2. SAP Datasphere
3. SAP BDC and SAP HANA integrations

• Expertise in:

1. SAC predictive features, smart insights, and advanced analytics
2. Data modelling, ETL processes, and cross-system integration

• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and JavaScript
• Experience building analytics applications, dashboards, and automated workflows
• Proven ability to work in agile environments and lead teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field
• Any experience in SAP Finance or Operations domains would be advantageous
• SAP certifications (SAC Data Analyst, Data Engineer, etc.) would be highly beneficial
