Teamware Solutions is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in non-HANA environments. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust SAP solutions, focusing on custom developments, enhancements, and integrations to meet specific business requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of ABAP programming principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient code.
Key Responsibilities
- ABAP Development & Customization:
- Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) in various SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO).
- Create and modify classical and interactive reports, ALV reports, and dialog programming.
- Develop and manage enhancements using user exits, BAdIs, and enhancement spots.
- Implement and debug complex ABAP code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshooting & Support:
- Provide expert-level support for existing ABAP functionalities, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.
- Analyze and debug complex business processes and system issues.
- Integration & Data Management:
- Develop interfaces for data exchange with external systems using technologies like RFC, BAPI, IDocs, and Web Services.
- Manage data migration activities using BDC, LSMW, or custom ABAP programs.
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with functional consultants and business users to gather and understand technical requirements.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, testing, and deployment.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer in non-HANA environments.
- Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language and development tools.
- Experience with various RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Solid understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FICO, or PP.
- Familiarity with data dictionary objects, performance tuning techniques, and debugging tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ABAP Objects.
- Knowledge of SAP workflow.
- Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver components.
- Prior experience in a global delivery model.
