Core Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).

Implement ABAP on HANA best practices, including CDS Views, AMDP, and optimized SQL.

Create and enhance SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.

Work on Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Spots) and Workflow development.

Develop OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.

Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure compliance with SAP standards.

Support data migration using LSMW, BDC, and BAPI.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues using tools like SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis, and ATC.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong experience in ABAP programming (Classical & Object-Oriented).

Expertise in ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL optimizations).

Hands-on with OData services and Fiori/UI5 integration.

Knowledge of Enhancement Framework, BADIs, User Exits.

Experience in Forms development (SmartForms, Adobe Forms).

Familiarity with SAP Workflow and integration scenarios.

Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.

RAP (Restful Application Programming) for ABAP Cloud.

ABAP Cloud / Clean Core guidelines for upgrade-safe development.

Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).

Knowledge of SAP Gateway, Service Binding, and Fiori annotations.

Exposure to SAP BTP and integration with cloud services.

Familiarity with Test Automation tools (eCATT, SECATT).

Understanding of Data Governance, naming conventions, and documentation standards.
