Job Title: ABAP CDS, OData, Integration Expert
Location: Remote
Experience: 7 to 10 years of relevant SAP ABAP experience
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled ABAP CDS, OData, and Integration Expert to design, build, and support scalable SAP solutions aligned with clean-core and integration best practices. The role requires an independent, customer-facing professional who can take end-to-end ownership, proactively engage stakeholders, and deliver high-quality outcomes in complex SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ABAP programs, CDS views, and OData services aligned with S/4HANA best practices
- Build and support integrations using IDocs, RFCs, REST/SOAP APIs, and SAP BTP Integration Suite
- Ensure solutions follow clean-core, upgrade-safe, and performance-optimized principles
- Collaborate with functional teams and customers to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and issue resolution in production environments
- Provide technical guidance and support during testing, go-live, and hypercare phases
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in ABAP (OO ABAP, enhancements, workflows)
- Hands-on experience with CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption)
- Strong experience in OData service development (SEGW / RAP preferred)
- Proven experience with SAP integration techniques (IDoc, RFC, Proxy, REST, SOAP)
- Good understanding of S/4HANA architecture and clean-core principles
- Experience working in customer-facing delivery roles
Good to Have
- Experience with SAP RAP model and Fiori integration
- Exposure to SAP BTP (Integration Suite, API Management)
- Integration with Kinaxis or similar supply-chain planning tools
- Knowledge of event-driven integration and APIs
- Experience in Agile / DevOps delivery models
