Job Description Senior ABAP Developer ( Relevant Exp 6-10 Years )
Shift Timing: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM IST
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior ABAP Developer with strong handson expertise in SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, and modern ABAP programming practices. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of backend development, integration, and performance optimization, along with experience supporting core SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FICO.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP solutions using ABAP in S/4HANA environments.
- Build and maintain OData services, SAP Web Services, and integration objects.
- Develop complex CDS Views, AMDP, Table Functions, and performanceoptimized data models.
- Work on Adobe Forms development and enhancements.
- Implement SAP Workflow event triggers and troubleshoot workflow issues.
- Apply parallel processing techniques for performance-intensive applications.
- Support business functions across MM, SD, and FICO modules.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for implementation, enhancements, and problem resolution.
- Stay aligned with RISE with SAP methodologies and innovations.
Mandatory Skills
- ABAP Handson Experience: 6-10 years
- S/4HANA Experience (Implementation or Enhancement)
- SAP Webservices
- OData Development
- CDS Views, AMDP & Table Functions
- Adobe Forms
- SAP Workflow Event Trigger Mechanism
- Parallel Processing Techniques
- Basic Familiarity with BAS (Business Application Studio) for Fiori Apps
- Exposure to RAP (less than 1 year acceptable)
- Knowledge of RISE with SAP
- Experience supporting MM, SD, FICO modules
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with Fiori/UI5 (optional)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of integration with non-SAP systems
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills in cross-application scenarios
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- SAP Certification in ABAP or S/4HANA (preferred but not mandatory)
