Position Title: SAP ABAP Technical Consultant

Location: Patna, Bihar (Onsite at Customer Location)

Customer: Government DISCOM (Power Distribution Utility)

Project Type: SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (PCE) SaaS Greenfield Implementation

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP S/4HANA technical solutions to support a Greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (PCE) for a Government DISCOM Utility.

The consultant will be responsible for technical design, development, enhancements, integrations, reports, forms, workflows, data conversion programs, APIs, and custom developments in SAP S/4HANA. The candidate will work closely with functional consultants, Basis teams, integration specialists, business users, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

Experience in SAP Utilities, Government projects, cloud-hosted SAP landscapes, and S/4HANA development standards will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Design & Development

Develop and support SAP ABAP solutions in SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition.
Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design documents.
Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and extensions.
Ensure adherence to SAP S/4HANA development standards and coding guidelines.
Perform technical impact assessments and effort estimations.
Participate in design reviews and code quality reviews.

Educational Qualifications

Mandatory

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline.

Preferred

MCA, M.Tech, MSc (IT), or equivalent qualification.

Experience Requirements

Mandatory

Minimum 3+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.
Strong experience in ABAP Reports, Enhancements, Interfaces, Forms, and Conversions.
Experience in technical design and development lifecycle.

Preferred

Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
Experience in Greenfield SAP implementations.
Experience in SAP Fiori, CDS Views, and OData Services.
Experience in Government, PSU, Utilities, or Infrastructure sector projects.
