Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and unit-test ABAP objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) aligned with clean-code and performance guidelines.
- Extend S/4HANA digital core using OO ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services powering SAP Fiori applications.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into robust technical designs and detailed specifications.
- Integrate SAP with external platforms via RFC/BAPI, IDoc/ALE, REST services, and PO/PI middleware, ensuring secure and reliable data flow.
- Conduct performance tuning, code reviews, and optimize database access leveraging SAP HANA best practices.
- Support cutovers, production incidents, and DevOps pipelines, providing root-cause analysis and continuous improvements.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 4+ years hands-on ABAP development across ECC or S/4HANA environments.
- Mastery of OO ABAP, Data Dictionary, ALV, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, and debugging tools.
- Proven experience with CDS Views, AMDP, SAP Gateway, and OData service creation for Fiori/UI5.
- Solid integration skills using RFC/BAPI, IDoc/ALE, or REST APIs plus performance tuning expertise.
