Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ABAP programming and be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing ABAP programs to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP programs and enhancements in SAP systems.
Collaborating with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Performing unit testing and assisting in system testing and user acceptance testing.
Troubleshooting and debugging existing ABAP programs to resolve issues and improve performance.
Creating technical documentation for developed programs and customizations.
Ensuring compliance with SAP best practices and development standards.

Skills and Qualifications

8-13 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and programming.
Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and its various components (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms).
Experience with SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, or HR.
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in ABAP.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Fiori development is a plus.
Experience with performance tuning and debugging of ABAP programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
