Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and convert business needs into technical ABAP specifications and custom enhancements.
- Design, develop, test, and support custom ABAP programs, BAPIs, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF), and IDocs.
- Build and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) Views, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and OData services for Fiori/UI5 and analytical applications.
- Create user interfaces (Fiori Elements, SAPUI5), Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and manage printing technologies.
- Conduct unit testing, support integration testing, troubleshoot and tune performance for ABAP solutions.
- Implement extensibility strategies for S/4HANA, including RAP for cloud, Steampunk / ABAP in the Cloud frameworks.
- Assist in data migration activities: design extraction, transformation, and loading procedures, including data reconciliation and accuracy auditing.
- Technical documentation: deliver specs, estimation reports, transport instructions, and maintenance guides.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in Agile ceremonies, transform functional specs into AV (architecture & validation) ready implementations.
