We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Professional with 4+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated capabilities at a consultant level. A mandatory requirement is S/4HANA implementation experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong ABAP development expertise in at least three out of the six RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) areas, and the ability to independently design technical specifications and develop objects. Experience in managing junior team members is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage 4+ years of relevant experience as an SAP ABAP professional, demonstrating capabilities consistent with a consultant level.
- Utilize mandatory S/4HANA implementation experience to contribute effectively to ongoing and new projects.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance, with proven experience in managing 1-2 junior team members, including potentially deploying campus recruits alongside them.
- Apply strong ABAP development expertise in at least 3 out of 6 RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) areas.
- Independently design (Technical Specifications) and develop ABAP objects, ensuring high quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the S/4HANA environment.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support integration testing to ensure the robustness and correctness of developed solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex ABAP issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Contribute to documentation efforts, creating and maintaining technical design documents.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP ABAP developments, S/4HANA functionalities, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- SAP ABAP with HANA.
- S/4HANA implementation experience is a must.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Experience in managing 1-2 junior team members.
- Strong ABAP development expertise in at least 3 out of 6 (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) areas.
- Ability to design (Technical Specifications) and develop objects independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
