Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP OOP Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming with a focus on object-oriented principles, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining SAP applications to meet our business needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs and reports in SAP systems.
- Design and implement Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in ABAP.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform unit testing and assist with integration testing of developed applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing ABAP applications.
- Optimize existing code for performance improvements and maintainability.
- Document technical specifications and development processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming, specifically with OOP concepts.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and its development environment.
- Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FI is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA is desirable.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable code and good debugging skills.
- Understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
