Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP on HANA/RAP solutions (4–10 years of SAP experience).
• Implement modern S/4HANA development technologies:
• ABAP on HANA
• CDS Views
• OData services
• BOPF
• RAP model
• Design and develop RAP Business Objects (Managed & Unmanaged):
• Behaviour Definition (BDEF)
• Behaviour Implementation
• CDS View Entities
• Create and consume OData V4 services.
• Develop CDS Views and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
• Apply code pushdown concepts and HANA modeling basics.
• Work with Fiori elements and annotation-driven UI (basic understanding).
• Take ownership of all assigned tasks and drive them to closure with minimum follow-ups.

Requirements

• 4–10 years of SAP ABAP experience (highly experienced in ABAP on HANA/RAP).
• Mandatory: At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in RAP (Managed & Unmanaged, RAP BO Modeling).
• Strong knowledge of:
• CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL enhancements
• HANA modeling basics, code pushdown concepts
• OData, OOPs ABAP, advanced ABAP syntax
• Experience with RAP Business Object Modeling:
• Behaviour Definition (BDEF)
• Behaviour Implementation
• CDS View Entities
• OData V4 Concepts
• Fiori Basics (Elements, Annotation-driven UI)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Retail domain knowledge is an added advantage (not mandatory).

Key SkillsMandatory

• ABAP on RAP and HANA: RAP (Managed & Unmanaged), RAP Business Object (BO) Modeling.
• OOPs ABAP: Object-Oriented ABAP.
• OData: OData V4 concepts, OData services.
• CDS Views: CDS View Entities, AMDP, Open SQL enhancements.
• HANA Modeling: Code pushdown concepts, HANA modeling basics.
• BOPF: Business Object Processing Framework.
• Fiori Basics: Elements, Annotation-driven UI (understanding).

Preferred
