Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP on HANA Consultant to design, develop, and optimize custom solutions for SAP S/4HANA and ECC on HANA systems. The consultant will work closely with functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable, and business-critical developments in a remote project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows
• Design and implement HANA-optimized code using CDS views, AMDP, and Open SQL best practices
• Work on S/4HANA custom developments including enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, and Fiori backend services
• Optimize existing ABAP code for performance on HANA database
• Develop and support OData services for SAP Fiori applications
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions Support testing, UAT, go-live, and post-production issues
• Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of SAP ABAP experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA / S/4HANA
• Strong knowledge of: CDS Views, AMDP, ALV, Smart Forms / Adobe Forms , BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, Enhancements , OData & Fiori backend development
• Experience with performance optimization and HANA best practices
• Familiarity with S/4HANA data model simplifications (e.g., MATDOC, ACDOCA)
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with S/4HANA migration or ECC S/4 conversion projects
• Knowledge of REST APIs and integration frameworks
• SAP ABAP certification
