SAP ABAP OData - B02

We are looking for a proficient SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in OData services for the B02 project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and developing OData services to support SAP Fiori applications and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement custom OData services using SAP Gateway and ABAP.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable backend logic.
• Create and maintain Fiori-compliant OData services to support UI5 applications.
• Develop and enhance custom programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements using SAP ABAP.
• Ensure performance tuning and optimization of OData services.
• Manage and resolve technical issues related to OData services and backend ABAP logic.
• Support SAP Fiori/UI5 developers with backend integration.
• Document technical designs, code, and unit test results.
• Conduct peer reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Hands-on expertise in OData service development using SEGW and ABAP CDS Views.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, CRUD operations, and metadata concepts.
• Experience in debugging and performance optimization of ABAP code and OData services.
• Familiar with BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, IDOCs, and RFCs.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 application architecture and backend integration.
• Experience in S/4HANA environment with Core Data Services (CDS).
• Knowledge of Gateway Error Handling, Batch processing, and Deep entity services.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) or Eclipse with ADT.
