SAP ISU ABAP Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP ISU ABAP Consultant to join our Application Management Services (AMS) team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support, development, and enhancement services for SAP ISU (Industry Solution Utilities) systems, ensuring seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day production support and troubleshooting for SAP ISU ABAP modules within the AMS environment.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using ABAP programming in the context of SAP ISU.
- Develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows, specifically for ISU processes (Billing, Device Management, Customer Service, etc.).
- Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes according to ITIL best practices.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to resolve complex issues and deliver enhancements.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Prepare technical documentation, test cases, and user guides as needed.
- Adhere to established coding standards, quality assurance, and security protocols.
- Support integration with other SAP modules and third-party applications.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP ISU and ABAP developments and recommend improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 2 years in SAP ISU projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ISU modules and processes (Billing, Device Management, Customer Service, etc.).
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, ALE/IDOC, and Smart Forms.
- Good understanding of AMS/production support environments and ITIL processes.
- Experience in analysing and resolving performance and technical issues.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts or on-call support, as per project requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Fiori/UI5, OData services, and integration technologies.
- Exposure to S/4HANA and new SAP technologies is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of the utilities business domain.
