SAP ABAP-HANA - GCC/ Healthcare Domain

Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Development:
• Design, develop, and implement complex custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW) on SAP S/4HANA, leveraging ABAP CDS Views, AMDP, and optimized HANA programming techniques.
• Develop and modify Fiori applications and UI5 extensions, integrating with backend ABAP-HANA services.
• Ensure all developments adhere to SAP best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines.
• Healthcare Domain Expertise:
• Apply deep understanding of healthcare specific modules (e.g., IS-H, Patient Management, Clinical Systems Integration, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology, Billing, Revenue Cycle Management) within an SAP environment.
• Develop solutions that support clinical workflows, patient data management, billing processes, and regulatory reporting specific to healthcare operations.
• Familiarity with healthcare integration standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and their potential integration with SAP is a strong plus.
• GCC Region Focus:
• Demonstrate knowledge of business practices, cultural nuances, and specific regulatory or compliance requirements (e.g., Ministry of Health regulations, VAT/Tax structures) relevant to the healthcare sector in GCC countries (e.g., KSA, UAE, Qatar).
• Develop and modify solutions to accommodate region-specific legal and statutory reporting requirements.
• Comfortable working with diverse teams and stakeholders from the GCC region, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
• Performance Optimization:
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of existing and new ABAP programs for HANA database.
• Utilize SAP HANA Studio, SQL Script, and other tools for effective data modeling and performance analysis.
• Technical Support & Maintenance:
• Provide expert-level support for existing SAP ABAP applications, troubleshooting complex issues, and performing root cause analysis.
• Manage change requests, perform impact analysis, and ensure timely resolution of production incidents.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure solution alignment.
• Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, design documents, test plans, and deployment documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure quality standards are met.
• Innovation & Learning:
• Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies, specifically in ABAP, S/4HANA, Fiori, and Cloud integrations.
• Proactively recommend innovative solutions and leverage new SAP functionalities to improve business processes.
