Project Role Description

Develop, enhance, and optimize custom SAP solutions using ABAP for HANA. The role involves designing scalable applications, integrating SAP systems with enterprise applications, supporting migration activities, and delivering high-performance solutions using modern SAP development practices.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA
• Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP experience

Educational Qualification

• 15 years of full-time education

Key Responsibilities

Configure ASAPIO business event publishers for SAP S/4HANA.

• Design and implement SAP business event publishing to Kafka.
• Configure event filtering, topic mapping, and publisher rules.
• Integrate ASAPIO with Apache Kafka / Confluent Platform.
• Support SAP CPI Kafka consumers and perform end-to-end event validation.
• Troubleshoot SAP event publishing, integration, and Kafka connectivity issues.
• Develop and optimize custom ABAP code for SAP HANA environments.
• Support migration, testing, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• Hands-on experience with ASAPIO and SAP business event publishing.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and HANA database environments.
• Knowledge of Kafka / Confluent Platform integration.
• Experience with SAP CPI / Integration Suite is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with SLT and ASAPIO.
• Ability to develop scalable and high-performance SAP solutions.
• Good understanding of SAP integration with enterprise applications.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
