Assignment Description
Summary: This role requires a candidate with extensive experience in SAP ABAP and Fiori development, who can work End to End on a FIORI application, i.e., ABAP oDATA + FIORI Front end. The ideal candidate will be an experienced FIORI+ABAP developer.
The role requires an expert familiar with FIORI based applications working with ECC, and not S/4.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize the preparation and delivery of SAP ABAP, HANA & FIORI activities while monitoring progress.
- Provide technical solutions and reviews on SAP ABAP, HANA & FIORI deliveries.
- Ensure project activities adhere to standard methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Propose and implement initiatives to optimize planning, cost, and quality, while performing POCs as needed.
- Review project requirements, prepare cutover plans, design and build custom code/apps, and extend SAP standards, providing support during testing phases, go-live, and post go-live hyper care for release projects, GSI, and TWIST deployments.
- Identify and mitigate risks, driving out barriers to success and escalating as needed.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of strong experience in SAP Fiori development.
- Proficient in ABAP programming.
- Experience with SAP HANA.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of GSI and TWIST deployment processes.
