We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and reports for SAP modules.
- Analyze and optimize existing ABAP code for performance enhancements.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in system upgrades and migrations, ensuring compatibility of custom ABAP solutions.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting of ABAP applications to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Document technical specifications and maintain code documentation for future reference.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8-15 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and development tools.
- Experience with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, and HR.
- Proficiency in data dictionary objects like tables, views, and data elements.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus.
- Experience with performance tuning and debugging ABAP programs.
- Knowledge of integration techniques using IDoc, BAPI, and RFC.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
