Job Title: SAP ABAP Development for HANA Consultant
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Development for HANA consultant with 5+ years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in ABAP on HANA, including Interfaces (IDOC, Proxy, BAPI), Enhancements, Reports, CDS Views, AMDP, Adobe Forms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS). This is a contract-to-hire (C2H) position, with a work-from-office (WFO) model, and we are looking for immediate to 15-day joiners.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality ABAP programs and solutions optimized for SAP HANA.
- Implement and enhance interfaces using IDOCs, Proxies, and BAPIs to ensure seamless integration between SAP and other systems.
- Develop custom reports, enhancements, and functionalities to meet specific business requirements.
- Create and optimize CDS Views (Core Data Services) for efficient data modeling and consumption on the HANA platform.
- Develop and optimize ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for high-performance database operations.
- Design and develop interactive and print forms using Adobe Forms.
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) principles for scalable and maintainable ABAP code.
- Analyze and optimize existing ABAP code for HANA performance improvements.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ABAP on HANA solutions.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Demonstrated practical experience in ABAP on HANA, including:
- Interfaces: IDOC, Proxy, BAPI
- Enhancements: BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements Spots
- Reports: Classical and ALV reports
- CDS Views: Creation and consumption of various types of CDS views
- AMDP: Experience in developing and optimizing AMDP procedures
- Adobe Forms: Development of interactive and print forms
- OOPS: Strong understanding and application of Object-Oriented Programming principles in ABAP.
- 1-2 End-to-End Implementation experiences on SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working on TS-Optimizer, with a strong ability to analyze optimizer log results.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Availability to join immediately or within a 15-day notice period.
Preferred Skills:
- Additional work experience with APO Optimizer.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology).
