Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA to design, develop, and support high-quality SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in modern ABAP development, HANA-based technologies, and integration frameworks, with a focus on performance optimization and scalable design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP on S/4HANA
- Develop advanced data models using CDS Views and implement business logic using AMDP
- Build and expose OData services for SAP Fiori and external integrations
- Develop and maintain ALV reports, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms
- Work on enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, and custom developments
- Design and implement interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, Proxies, and Web Services
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs on HANA
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, transport management, and development lifecycle processes
- Support system integration testing (SIT), UAT, and production deployments
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA database concepts
- Proficiency in:
- CDS Views
- AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)
- OData Services
- ALV Reports
- Enhancements & BAdIs
- SmartForms / Adobe Forms
- Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, Proxy, Web Services)
- Strong experience in performance tuning and optimization
- Proficiency in debugging and production support
- Knowledge of SAP transport management system (TMS)
- Understanding of SAP development lifecycle and best practices
Desired Skills
- Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 integration
- Familiarity with modern UX/UI concepts in SAP
- Exposure to SAP Gateway services
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Relevant SAP certifications are a plus
