SAP ABAP Developer - RAP Module

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in RAP (Restful Application Programming Model). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP-based applications in SAP S/4HANA environments, leveraging RAP to create cloud-ready and future-proof solutions. You will play a crucial role in delivering scalable applications and ensuring adherence to SAP's Clean Core strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Development & Enhancement: Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP S/4HANA applications using ABAP RAP. This includes designing and implementing OData services for Fiori/UI5 applications and working on end-to-end ABAP RESTful programming in both unmanaged and managed scenarios.
• Performance & Best Practices: Optimize performance and ensure that development adheres to best practices. You will work with CDS Views, BOPF, and AMDPs to ensure a clean core strategy.
• Collaboration & Testing: Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions. You will also perform unit testing and support integration testing phases.
• Integration: Work with SAP BTP, Fiori Elements, and UI5 for front-end integration and have a good understanding of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and its integration with RAP.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• 2+ years of experience with ABAP RAP in SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of CDS Views, BOPF, OData, and AMDPs.
• Experience with Eclipse ADT for RAP development.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, debugging, and enhancements.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• SAP certifications in ABAP for S/4HANA or ABAP RAP are preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and experience with CI/CD pipelines for SAP development are a plus.
