Position Summary

Level: SAP ABAP Consultant

As an experienced Consultant, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you'll do:

As an SAP ABAP Consultant, you will develop programs across all RICEFW components and process areas, ensuring high-quality deliverables in line with our standards. Responsibilities include reviewing functional specifications, preparing technical documentation, translating requirements into efficient code, and performing thorough technical unit testing. You will be accountable for maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the build phase and actively participating in review processes, including self and peer reviews.

• Use project management tools as trained
• Capture minutes of meetings (MOM) during technical reviews
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Work effectively within structured, process-driven environments

Qualifications:

Must have Skills:

• 3-6 Years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA implementation projects
• Proficiency in core ABAP areas:
• Reports (including ALV)
• Interfaces (file-based; optionally IDOC, ALE, etc.)
• OO ABAP
• Enhancements (User Exits, Customer Exits, BADI; optionally BTE, Enhancement Framework in S/4HANA)
• Adobe Forms
• Conversions (including BDC, BAPI; optionally LSMW)
• Experience in Core Data Services (CDS) development
• Experience in Gateway services
• Technical involvement in at least one full-cycle implementation project
• Good understanding of the Functional Processes
• Experience of writing technical specification document
• Good communication skills

Good to have Skills:

• Experience in any additional skill area such as Integration, SAP UI5, SAP BTP
• SAP ABAP+ (BTP/UI5/O Data/CDS/TM/BRIM/VIM/Public Cloud)
