Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer with strong end-to-end process knowledge across core SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, CS, PM, and QM. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support high-quality SAP technical solutions aligned with business processes in an S/4HANA environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support ABAP programs in SAP S/4HANA environment
Develop and enhance:
- Reports (ALV, CDS-based reports)
- Interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs)
- Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements Framework)
- Forms (Adobe Forms, SmartForms)
- Workflows (optional/desired)
- Develop CDS Views, AMDPs, and performance-optimized code aligned with S/4HANA best practices
- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business processes across FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, CS, PM, and QM
- Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Support S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and system conversions
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer
- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and code quality guidelines

Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP on SAP S/4HANA
Proficiency in:
- ABAP OO
- CDS Views
- AMDP
- ALV (OO & SALV)
- IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs
- Enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits
- Experience with S/4HANA data models and simplification items
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 (backend development, OData services) is a plus
- Functional / Process Knowledge
Strong process understanding across:
- FI/CO – Finance & Controlling
- MM – Materials Management
- SD – Sales & Distribution
- PP – Production Planning
- CS – Customer Service
- PM – Plant Maintenance
- QM – Quality Management
- Ability to discuss business requirements confidently with functional teams
Experience
- 5–10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience
- At least 1–2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions preferred.
