Job Description

Role Expectations

  • Develop, test, and maintain ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms
  • Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) views for optimized data modeling
  • Develop and expose OData services to enable SAP integration with external systems
  • Build cloud-ready SAP Fiori applications using RAP (Restful Application Programming)
  • Manage Data Dictionary (DDIC) objects such as tables, views, structures, and domains
  • Troubleshoot and optimize ABAP developments for performance issues
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to convert business needs into technical solutions
  • Perform unit testing, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices
  • Maintain technical documentation and provide support for live applications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
  • Strong command of ABAP programming, CDS views, OData services, RAP framework, and DDIC
  • Experience with managed/unmanaged RAP and CRUD operations
  • Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus
  • Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and development standards
  • Proven skills in debugging and performance tuning of ABAP code
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • SAP ABAP development certification preferred
