Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining ABAP programs, collaborating with functional teams, and optimizing SAP applications for performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform system analysis, design, testing, and debugging of ABAP applications.
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements.
- Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring smooth transitions and integrations.
- Provide support for production issues and implement necessary fixes in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
- 9-11 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, and HR.
- Expertise in ABAP programming language, including object-oriented ABAP.
- Experience with data dictionary objects (tables, views, and data elements).
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Understanding of performance tuning techniques in ABAP.
- Experience with IDOCs, BAPIs, and BADI implementations.
- Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques in the SAP environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
