We are looking for a highly experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with OData expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development, E2E implementation, and support experience across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP ABAP development activities in implementation, roll-out, and upgrade projects.
- Work on custom development and enhancements using IDOCs, ALE, RFC, BAPI, BADI, ALV, BDC (Batch Input and Call Transaction Methods).
- Configure SAP message outputs and output conditions using NACE.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and customize SAP ABAP programs and reports while following best practices.
- Work on data migration using LSMW.
- Implement CDS views and OData services for SAP applications.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP-related issues.
- Stay updated on new SAP technologies, including HANA and FIORI.
- Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to ensure project success.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience with hands-on exposure to E2E implementation and support.
- Strong expertise in ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, Enhancements, and Object-Oriented ABAP.
- Good understanding of SAP business processes in SD, MM, and other functional areas.
- Experience with SAP message outputs and NACE configuration.
- Proficiency in CDS views and OData services development.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and define technical solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
