Description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP applications according to business requirements.
  • Develop, configure, and debug SAP Workflows, including complex workflow scenarios.
  • Deliver high-quality RICEF components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
  • Work with functional consultants to analyze business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and development standards.
  • Provide production support and help resolve critical issues promptly.

Required Skills & Expertise

ABAP Core & Advanced Skills :

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong experience with ABAP Workflow development and debugging.
  • Proficient in OOABAP (Object-Oriented ABAP) concepts.

RICEF Development

Reports :

  • ALV, Classical Reports

Interfaces

  • ALE/IDoc, BAPI

Conversions

  • LSMW, BDC

Enhancements

  • User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Spots, BTEs

Forms

  • SAP Script, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms

Additional Competencies

  • Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and integration points.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 8+ years of relevant SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Expertise in workflow implementation and end-to-end workflow design.
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and collaborative.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions
