Description
We are seeking a motivated SAP ABAP Consultant to join our dynamic team in India. This role is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the SAP domain.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs and reports based on functional specifications.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP programs and issues.
- Participate in system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and efficiency.
- Support data migration activities and SAP upgrades.
- Document technical specifications and maintain project documentation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and development tools.
- Familiarity with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, or CO.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in ABAP.
- Experience with SAP Data Dictionary, including tables, views, and indexes.
- Basic understanding of SAP enhancement techniques such as user exits, BAdIs, and enhancement points.
- Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques in SAP.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
