Sap Abap Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 8-15 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ABAP development and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP programs and reports. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and reports based on functional specifications.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and develop technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
• Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-15 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and its various components like reports, interfaces, BAPIs, and enhancements.
• Experience in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) programming.
• Hands-on experience with SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, and HR.
• Proficient in using debugging tools and performance analysis tools in SAP.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and related technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
