SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with expertise in SAP S/4HANA development. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ABAP programming, including CDS Views, OData, AMDP, RAP, and Fiori/UI5 development. The role involves working closely with functional teams to design, develop, and enhance SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and implement ABAP programs in SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Design and implement CDS Views, AMDP, OData services, and RAP-based developments.
• Enhance and optimize standard SAP applications using user exits, BADIs, and enhancement frameworks.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and design custom solutions.
• Work on Fiori/UI5 development and integrate with SAP backend using OData services.
• Handle performance tuning and debugging of existing ABAP programs.
• Implement and support interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and SOAP/REST web services.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior ABAP developers.
• Support SAP upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring smooth transitions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in S/4HANA ABAP, including CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and RAP.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development and OData integration.
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP RICEF Concepts, Object-Oriented ABAP, ALV, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
• Experience in interfaces (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services - SOAP/REST).
• Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP Workflow, BRF+, and ABAP on Cloud is an advantage.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Good understanding of SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, PP, PS, etc.) and their integration points.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in ABAP or S/4HANA development.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
• Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform (BTP) and CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
