Sap Abap Consultant

Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP applications and reports.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements and bug fixes.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP applications in production environments.
• Document technical specifications, development processes, and support procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-15 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and its tools (e.g., ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary).
• Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FI is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques in ABAP.
• Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
