Role: SAP ABAP Consultant

Location: Ahmedabad (On-Site)
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 7+ years of strong technical expertise in ABAP development to support, enhance, and implement SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient SAP developments.
Key Responsiblities:
- Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP Objects (OOPS).
- Develop and enhance ALV reports, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms.
- Work on User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements, BAPIs, and RFCs.
- Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BDC, LSMW, and web services.
- Perform performance tuning and code optimization.
- Collaborate with functional consultants (FI, MM, SD, PP, HR, etc.) to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Support SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and AMS activities.
- Prepare technical design documents and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Provide production support and resolve incidents within SLA.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong expertise in Classical & Interactive Reports, ALV, Module Pool Programming.
- Experience with ABAP OOPS concepts.
- Hands-on knowledge of IDocs, BDC, LSMW, BAPIs, RFCs.
- Experience with Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs.
- Good understanding of at least one SAP functional module (FI/MM/SD preferred).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to S/4HANA ABAP (CDS Views, AMDP, HANA concepts).
- Experience with SAP Workflow.
- Prior experience in support and implementation projects.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
