Job Summary

This hybrid role of Technical Lead focuses on designing developing and optimizing complex SAP solutions using ABAP workflow object oriented ABAP web services BRF rules and WebDynpro technologies. The role spans end to end technical ownership across core ABAP and integration scenarios supporting day time operations without travel while ensuring scalable solutions for supply chain and multi channel processes in a large global enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of robust SAP solutions using core ABAP and object oriented ABAP to deliver stable and high performing business applications for enterprise scale operations.
• Drive implementation of SAP ABAP workflow solutions that streamline approvals and business process automation to reduce manual effort and accelerate transaction throughput.
• Develop and optimize ABAP web services to enable secure real time integration between SAP and external systems supporting multi channel and supply chain scenarios.
• Configure and enhance BRF business rules framework components to centralize complex decision logic and improve maintainability of rules driven processes.
• Design and build WebDynpro for ABAP applications that deliver intuitive user interfaces and guided workflows tailored to business stakeholder needs.
• Implement and maintain SAP WebDynpro for Java components where required to support legacy or specialized front end requirements and ensure consistent user experience.
• Review and refactor existing ABAP code base to improve performance readability and reusability while aligning with organizational coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business partners to translate process requirements into detailed technical designs that support supply chain and multi channel operating models.
• Perform thorough unit testing integration testing and defect resolution to ensure reliable delivery of technical solutions within defined quality and compliance expectations.
• Provide technical guidance to development team members on complex ABAP topics such as workflow design object oriented patterns and service based integration while promoting knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with basis and integration teams to ensure optimal system performance for custom developments including tuning of database access and interface configurations.
• Document technical specifications solution designs and configuration details in a clear and comprehensive manner to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
• Support hybrid work model collaboration by using digital tools and structured communication practices to maintain alignment across onsite and remote stakeholders in day shift operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in core ABAP and object oriented ABAP including modularization classes interfaces and performance optimization techniques.
• Exhibit strong hands on experience with SAP ABAP workflow design event handling and customization for complex approval chains and background processes.
• Show proven capability in developing and consuming ABAP web services to support interoperable architectures across internal and external systems.
• Possess practical expertise in BRF business rules framework with ability to model test and deploy maintainable rule sets that align with business governance.
• Display experience in building and maintaining WebDynpro for ABAP and SAP WebDynpro for Java applications with focus on usability consistency and responsiveness.
• Bring sound understanding of supply chain management and multi channel domain concepts that inform better solution design and end user outcomes.
• Apply effective communication and collaboration skills to work productively in hybrid teams and coordinate with cross functional stakeholders during day shift activities.
