Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Cloud Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions within the SAP ecosystem, leveraging cloud-native principles and technologies. This role involves working on innovative projects to enhance business processes and integrate various SAP and non-SAP systems for Hitachi Digital Services LLC.
Job Responsibilities
. Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP Cloud solutions, including custom applications, extensions, and integrations, adhering to best practices and architectural guidelines.
. Work with business analysts and functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust, scalable, and secure SAP solutions.
. Develop and maintain APIs, OData services, and other integration mechanisms for seamless data exchange between SAP and external systems in cloud environments.
. Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization for existing and new SAP ABAP Cloud developments.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, infrastructure engineers, and project managers, throughout the software development lifecycle.
. Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP ABAP Cloud technologies, tools, and methodologies, and recommend their adoption where appropriate.
. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
. Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and support activities as needed.
Job Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
. Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer, with a strong focus on ABAP Cloud development, including RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model).
. Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services, such as Cloud Foundry, Kyma Runtime, and various integration services.
. Proficiency in developing OData services, CDS Views, and ABAP Core Data Services.
. Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and cloud principles.
. Experience with Git or other version control systems.
. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
. SAP certifications in ABAP or relevant cloud technologies are a plus.
