Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality ABAP solutions to meet our business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces in SAP systems.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing ABAP code to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.
- Provide support in system upgrades and enhancements.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-12 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and development tools.
- Experience with SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, or HR is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and OData services is advantageous.
- Understanding of SAP data dictionary objects (tables, views, data elements, domains).
- Experience in developing reports using ALV and classical reporting techniques.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques in ABAP.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
