Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Architect to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP development, with extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions within the SAP ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality SAP applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces according to business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and scalability.
- Lead technical workshops and provide guidance to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SAP applications and environments.
- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.
- Participate in system upgrades and migrations, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and adherence to best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8-15 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong expertise in ABAP programming language and its various tools.
- Experience with SAP HANA and ABAP for HANA development.
- Proficient in Object-Oriented ABAP programming.
- Knowledge of SAP modules like SD, MM, and FI is highly desirable.
- Experience with data migration tools such as LSMW and BAPIs.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
