## **Job Title: SAP Solution Architect**

### **Role Summary**

We are seeking an experienced **SAP Solution Architect** responsible for leading end-to-end SAP solution design, conducting system assessments, performing GAP analysis, driving migration programs, and supporting proposal development. The role includes short-term onsite collaboration in the USA (B1/B2 visa) for workshops, stakeholder alignment, and solution validation.

## **Key Responsibilities**

### 1. **Solution Architecture & Design**

* Design end-to-end SAP enterprise solutions aligned with business objectives.

* Define system landscape (DEV, QA, PROD), integration architecture, and deployment strategy.

* Provide architectural guidance across SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, MDG, BTP, EAM, etc.).

* Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and compliance with governance standards.

### 2. **Assessment & Current State Evaluation**

* Conduct detailed assessment of existing SAP and non-SAP systems.

* Evaluate custom developments, integrations, master data quality, and reporting frameworks.

* Identify technical debt, inefficiencies, and risks.

* Deliver assessment reports including recommendations and roadmap.

### 3. **GAP Analysis**

* Perform business process workshops to document AS-IS processes.

* Map AS-IS to SAP standard best practices (TO-BE model).

* Identify functional, technical, and integration gaps.

* Recommend configuration changes, enhancements, or custom developments.

* Provide effort estimation and risk analysis for identified gaps.

### 4. **Proposal Writing & Pre-Sales Support**

* Lead technical solutioning during RFP/RFQ stages.

* Prepare high-quality proposals including:

* Solution architecture diagrams

* Scope definition

* Resource planning

* Effort estimation

* Project timeline

* Risk mitigation plan

* Collaborate with sales and delivery teams for customer presentations and clarifications.

* Support client demos and proof-of-concept development.

### 5. **Migration (Existing System to SAP / ECC to S/4HANA / Consolidation)**

* Develop migration strategy (Greenfield, Brownfield, Hybrid).

* Lead system conversion planning and execution.

* Oversee data migration (LSMW, Data Services, Migration Cockpit, etc.).

* Manage cutover planning and go-live support.

* Ensure minimal business disruption during transition.

* Define rollback and contingency plans.

### 6. **Stakeholder & Client Engagement**

* Conduct executive-level workshops and steering meetings.

* Translate business needs into technical solutions.

* Provide architectural governance and best practice recommendations.

* Travel to USA (B1/B2) for 34 weeks as needed for workshops, assessments, and solution finalization.

## **Required Skills & Qualifications**

* 10+ years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years in Solution Architecture.

* Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA / ECC implementations.

* Experience in system migration and transformation projects.

* Strong knowledge of integration (IDoc, APIs, BTP, middleware).

* Proven experience in GAP analysis and business process re-engineering.

* Experience in writing technical and commercial proposals.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Ability to travel internationally (B1/B2 visa readiness).

## **Preferred Qualifications**

* SAP Certification(s).

* Experience in global rollouts or multi-country implementations.

* Knowledge of cloud hosting (AWS/Azure/GCP) for SAP workloads.

* Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.

## **Travel Requirement**

* Short-term onsite presence in the USA (B1/B2) for approximately **1 month** for workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder alignment.
