Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming and will be responsible for developing and maintaining SAP applications to support various business processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces within SAP systems.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and applications.
- Conduct unit testing and support integration testing activities.
- Document technical specifications and maintain thorough documentation of processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7-9 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP language and programming concepts.
- Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FI is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and SAP Fiori is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze and debug ABAP code.
- Knowledge of SAP enhancement techniques (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements).
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.
- Understanding of data dictionary objects (Tables, Views, Domains, Data Elements).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
