SAP aATP S/4 HANA Functional Consultant

Working hours: (Aug, Sep, October, Feb, March: IST Working Hours) (Nov, Dec, Jan, Apr, May, June: Korea OR Australia working hours)

Manager's expectation is to have at least 8+ years with aATP with multiple S/4 HANA implementations regardless of the % career dedicated to aATP. In simple terms, we are looking for an aATP expert. They are moving from basic ATP to aATP. Core S/4 aATP skillset is needed. They DO NOT need APO gATP migration experience.

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and highly experienced SAP S/4HANA aATP (Advanced Available-to-Promise) Functional Consultant to deliver aATP design, configuration, testing, cutover and deployment activities for the Aurora SAP S/4HANA implementation project for South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. This is a hands-on implementation delivery role requiring deep SAP aATP functional expertise, dedicated aATP experience and multiple full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation experiences. The consultant will partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, integration teams and regional process owners across South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

Critical Requirement: This is not a support or AMS role. Candidates whose experience is primarily production support, incident management or ticket-based support will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA aATP Solution Design & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA aATP solutions across implementation and rollout phases.
• Facilitate fit-gap analysis, requirements workshops, process design discussions and blueprinting solutions.
• Translate business needs into scalable SAP aATP solutions aligned with global template standards and regional requirements.
• Own functional design decisions and provide subject matter expertise.

Advanced Available-to-Promise Functional Scope

• Product Availability Check (PAC)
• Backorder Processing (BOP)
• Supply Protection (SUP)
• Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC)
• Product Allocation (PAL)
• Release for Delivery (RfD)
• Availability Check Control, confirmation strategies, checking groups and checking rules
• Business prioritization rules and fulfillment confirmation logic

Cross-Functional Integration

• Partner with SAP SD / Order-to-Cash, MM, EWM, PP, TM, FI/CO, Master Data and Integration teams.
• Ensure aATP integration with sales orders, deliveries, warehouse processes, production supply, inventory planning and external fulfillment or planning systems.
• Collaborate with technical teams for WRICEF objects, enhancements, interfaces and CPI/integration requirements.

Testing, Cutover & Deployment

• Prepare and review Functional Design Documents, configuration documents, test scripts and solution specifications.
• Lead SIT, UAT, defect triage and solution validation for aATP processes.
• Support cutover planning, go-live preparation, deployment readiness and hypercare stabilization for implementation scope.
• Drive issue resolution while maintaining template integrity and regional deployment commitments.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the functional SME for SAP S/4HANA aATP within the Aurora program.
• Engage business users, process owners, deployment leads, system integrators and technical workstreams.
• Lead workshops, present solution options, document decisions and drive alignment across countries and workstreams.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

• 8+ years of dedicated SAP aATP experience with deep hands-on configuration and implementation delivery exposure.
• Multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation experiences with a minimum of three full lifecycle implementations preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience implementing PAC, BOP, PAL, ABC, Supply Protection and Release for Delivery.
• Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash processes and aATP integration with sales, inventory, delivery and fulfillment processes.
• Strong knowledge of material availability, supply allocation, inventory management and fulfillment confirmation concepts.
• Experience working in large-scale, global, multi-country SAP transformation programs. Preferably FMCG.
• Strong functional documentation, configuration, testing, deployment and cutover experience.
• Ability to lead business workshops and work directly with senior stakeholders and regional deployment teams.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to aATP.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• SAP EWM and/or SAP TM integration experience.
• Experience with interfaces.
• Prior experience in FMCG, Consumer Products, or Manufacturing industries.
• Experience supporting APAC rollouts and multi-country deployment programs.

Implementation Focus

The selected consultant will be responsible for SAP S/4HANA aATP implementation deliverables supporting Aurora deployments across South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. The primary focus will be solution design, hands-on configuration, functional documentation, testing, deployment readiness, go-live execution and stabilization for implementation scope.
