Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sanskrit faculty member at Maharaja Sanskrit PG College, located in Mysore. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for conducting lectures and seminars, designing and updating course materials, evaluating student performance, and providing academic guidance. Responsibilities also involve engaging in research, contributing to scholarly publications, organizing cultural and educational events, and promoting Sanskrit language and literature among students and the larger community.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Sanskrit language, literature, and grammar along with strong academic writing and research skills
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and delivering engaging lectures
- Proficiency in proofreading and editing academic content
- Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor students
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Sanskrit or a related discipline
- Experience as a faculty member or educator in Sanskrit studies is preferred
- Dedication to the enhancement of Sanskrit education and pedagogical practices
