Technical Lead – SampleManager LIMS
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in SampleManager LIMS implementation, customization, and support. The successful candidate will lead technical delivery teams, work closely with clients to gather and analyze requirements, design and implement solutions, and ensure successful project execution throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead technical teams in SampleManager LIMS implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with company standards, best practices, and SOPs.
Client Engagement & Requirements Management
- Interface directly with clients to understand business requirements and enhancement requests.
- Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions.
- Prepare Functional and Technical Requirement Specification Documents.
- Evaluate client requirements and recommend optimal technical solutions.
Solution Design & Development
- Design, develop, configure, and implement SampleManager LIMS solutions.
- Develop enhancements and customizations to meet client-specific requirements.
- Participate in full software development lifecycle activities including design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support.

Quality Assurance & Support
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure solutions are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
Collaboration
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, project managers, business analysts, and clients.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SampleManager LIMS implementation, customization, and support.
- Strong experience in systems analysis, solution design, software development, integration, and testing.
- Experience with system integrations and instrument interfacing.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage client-facing activities.
