Software Asset Management (SAM) Flexera Expert

We are seeking a Flexera SAM Engineer/Expert to lead and optimize a large-scale Software Asset Management program using Flexera (FlexNet Manager / FlexeraOne / SaaS Manager). In this role, you will ensure that the software estate-on-prem, SaaS, and cloud-is accurately inventoried, licensed, and optimized to reduce risk, avoid overspending, and maintain compliance with complex vendor agreements.

You will partner closely with Procurement, Finance, Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to design and operate scalable SAM processes, tooling, and reporting that align with enterprise governance standards.

• Own and manage the Flexera SAM ecosystem to deliver accurate insights into software usage and licensing.
• Drive strategic initiatives to improve license utilization and reduce unnecessary software spend.
• Establish governance frameworks for software procurement, deployment, and retirement.
• Act as a subject matter expert for licensing across major vendors and SaaS platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between technical, financial, and compliance objectives.
• Enable audit readiness and proactively mitigate compliance risks.
• Deliver actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and executive summaries.
