Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salsa Instructor role based at Kothari International School in Noida. The Salsa Instructor will plan and deliver engaging salsa and Latin dance lessons to students of different age groups and skill levels, ensuring classes are safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate.

Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, teaching technique and choreography, preparing students for performances and school events, and incorporating music, rhythm, and movement exercises into daily instruction.

The role also involves collaborating with the co-curricular and sports teams, supporting school activities, maintaining attendance and progress records, and communicating with parents and school staff as needed. The instructor will contribute to a positive school culture by modeling professionalism, discipline, and respect, and by encouraging students confidence, teamwork, and creativity.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Salsa and Latin Dance, with the ability to teach fundamentals, styling, partner work, and performance routines.
• Experience in Training and coaching groups or individuals, ideally in a school or academy setting, with clear instructional and class management skills.
• Customer Service and communication skills to interact respectfully and professionally with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Basic Sales or promotional skills to support enrollment in dance programs, workshops, and school events, when required.
• Prior experience as a dance instructor or performer, preferably working with children and adolescents.
• Relevant certification or formal training in dance or performing arts is preferred.
• Ability to design age-appropriate lesson plans, manage diverse classrooms, and maintain a safe practice environment.
• Good physical fitness, punctuality, reliability, and the capacity to work full-time on campus following the school schedule.
