Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Gonda. The Salesperson will be responsible for promoting and selling Patanjali Foods products to retailers, distributors, and direct customers within the assigned territory. Day-to-day tasks include visiting outlets, presenting product features and benefits, negotiating orders, and ensuring proper product display and availability. The role involves tracking sales targets, reporting market feedback and competitor activity, and coordinating with the sales and distribution teams to support smooth supply and customer satisfaction. The Salesperson will also conduct promotional activities, support in-store branding, and build long-term relationships with channel partners.
Qualifications

  • Proven sales and negotiation skills, with experience in FMCG or retail sales preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Ability to plan daily routes, manage time effectively, and work towards monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Basic numerical and analytical skills to track sales performance, stock levels, and payment collections.
  • Knowledge of the local market in and around Gonda and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Comfort using mobile or basic digital tools for reporting and coordination.
  • Self-motivated, ethical, and customer-focused mindset aligned with Patanjali Foods values.
