Role Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive On-Site Sales Executive with specific experience in plywood, laminates, wall panels, or hardware products. The role involves handling walk-in customers, understanding their requirements, and recommending the right interior material solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend and assist walk-in customers at the showroom
  • Understand customer requirements across residential and commercial interiors
  • Provide expert guidance on:

Plywood & boards (grades, thickness, applications)

Laminates & finishes (textures, durability, aesthetics)

Wall panels (design styles, installation use-cases)

Hardware (functional fittings, usage, quality differences)

  • Suggest products based on design theme, budget, and functionality
  • Convert inquiries into sales and achieve monthly targets
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, carpenters, and interior designers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product trends and categories
  • Coordinate with billing, inventory, and dispatch teams
  • Ensure showroom presentation is organized and visually appealing

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience specifically in interior material sales (plywood, laminates, wall panels or hardware is a must)
  • Strong communication and convincing ability
  • Good understanding of material applications and differences
  • Presentable personality with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to handle both retail customers and professional buyers
  • Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced showroom environment
  • Strong skills in client relationship management, customer engagement, and networking
  • Proficiency in sales techniques, lead conversion, and market analysis
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Problem-solving ability and aptitude for understanding client requirements
  • Basic knowledge of interior design or interest in home and office interiors is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
