Description
As a Solution Architect, you will own the integrity and strength of the solutions recommended. You'll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team. You will require a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform but just as importantly, good communication skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they meet both business and technical specifications while adhering to Salesforce best practices
- Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders to identify current gaps and challenges and gather requirements
- Present solutions and architecture to business stakeholders, effectively communicating the benefits and trade-offs of different approaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the integration process to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.
- Provide guidance to the development team, ensuring that solutions are implemented according to the design and conduct functional walkthroughs.
- Groom and refine the Salesforce product backlog, in liaison with product owners on the project
- Build user stories with clear acceptance criteria to ensure accurate and complete understanding of requirements
- Create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 10+ years of experience in a leading role in Salesforce projects, 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions in complex environments.
- Strong Salesforce solution design experience specifically in the Service cloud and Experience Cloud and the ability to work in an agile manner in order to turn around/develop Solution fast and effectively in a short period of time.
- Proven experience of working in a fast paced environment, supporting the business in its adoption and progressing with solution design/build with sufficient control in place.
- Skilled in Core Salesforce cloud configuration and customisation (Service and Experience), declarative and programmatic Salesforce tooling, and integrating with 3rd party systems.
- Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and problem solving skills.
- Partner with development teams to deliver project objectives through iterative delivery by offering expertise in solution design;
- Ensure defined Salesforce CRM architecture roadmap aligns with enterprise standards.
- Analyze new requests and define non-functional requirements and create solution design and architecture.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in approachable terms tailored for varied audiences
- Ability to independently identify experience challenges
- Ability to lead other UX practitioners
- Proven history of approachable, constructive relationships with UX practitioners, internal stakeholders, and customers
- In-depth knowledge of the Customer Success Customer Support functions
